I emigrated from South Africa in 2017. In South Africa I worked for the South African Revenue Service (or SARS as it is normally referred to), which is the equivalent of the ATO, dealing with Income Tax disputes. My first employment in Australia was at GIO Worker’s Compensation Insurance, where I worked for six years before I joined a defendant law firm in January 2024.
In my free time I am involved in coaching rugby to juniors at a local rugby club.
I completed a B.Com Hons in Financial Management and an M.Com in Taxation (University of Pretoria) . Thereafter I completed a Bachelors of Law (LLB) (University of South Africa).
I completed the necessary subjects as specified by the LPAB for my LLB to be recognised in Australia in 2023. I am currently completing my Practical Legal Training through the College of Law and will complete this in October 2024.
